This set of organically shaped plates are a set because they are united in their commonality, and at the same time, each is one is different and has its own personality.
That simple truth is so deep and so powerful.
These 3 plates were made together using common colors, materials, and processes, yet each is unique. This is one of the deep teachings I have learned from my ceramics practice. These "Lessons for Life from a Lump of Clay" are my most powerful teacher, and give me the opportunity to practice and hopefully master those sacred truths I have learned from Torah and my holy teachers.
As with all handmade art, no two pieces are identical. Limited edition pieces are created in the same basic shape, size, style and palette, but there will be small differences due to handmade nature of my work.
