These handpainted plates were inspired by some of the most beautiful places in Israel. Each one was was hand-shaped from clay hewn from the earth of the Holy Land and painted in a watercolor style pigmented underglaze. Scenes include • Sea of Galilee • Golan Heights • Tiberias Forest • Ein Gedi springs • Coastal plain • Dead Sea • Hula Valley
I added 22k gold kiln fired accents as a symbol of Israel's unique preciousness. It's a great example of functional art inspired by the magnificence and abundance of the world which God created for our benefit.
I find this to be such a convenient size for so many things—I use it to plate a light meal or appetizer, or to serve cookies, cake or fruit.
As original art, It can also be displayed with other plates in this series, on a stand or a plate hanger.

As with all handmade art, no two pieces are identical. Limited edition pieces are created in the same basic shape, size, style and palette, but there will be small differences due to handmade nature of my work.
