This menorah was hand-built with spaces on the side as a symbol of our longing for the rebuilding of the Temple.
It features the classic palette of Jerusalem, and surrounding Hills — soft tones of stone, rose, sand and sky.
Both sides feature an original hand painting, in watercolor style. One depicts the Western Wall, and the other features a vista of the walls of the old city, against a foreground of the Hills of Jerusalem.
It is made from the clay of Israel's Negev desert, not far from where the miracle of Chanukah took place some 2,000 years ago.
It has 22k gold that have been fired on in the kiln.
As with all handmade art, no two pieces are identical. Limited edition pieces are created in the same basic shape, size, style and palette, but there will be small differences due to handmade nature of my work.
