Miriam the Prophetess
Share
From the She•khina Collection, this hand-made-and-painted hamsa depicts Miriam, one of the earliest prophetesses.
Miriam is best known for helping to deliver Moses at the Nile River and leading the Hebrew women in singing, dancing, and playing drums after crossing the Red Sea.
As the leader of the women of her time, Miriam inspired and empowered them to use their uniquely feminine strength and understanding to have a pivotal role in the future redemption.
This is a one-of-a-kind, signed piece of art, made with the clay of the Land of Israel.
Pigmented engobes with transparent glaze, and 22 karat gold accents.
16 x 13 cm
A note about handmade art
As with all handmade art, no two pieces are identical. Limited edition
pieces are created in the same basic shape, size, style and palette, but
there will be small differences due to handmade nature of my work.
