Colors of Chanukah Menorah with Kintsugi
Colors of Chanukah Menorah with Kintsugi
Share
This beautiful colorful menorah is inspired by all the colors, sights, and sounds of Jerusalem where the miracle of Chanukah took place in the 2nd century B.C. It cracked in the kiln, as ceramics are prone to do, and it was repaired using the ancient Japanese techinique for fixing broken pottery, known as Kintsugi.
Kintsugi teaches us that in life we can turn adversity into something that is beautiful and resilient. Kintsugi shows us that in time, we can heal from our wounds, embrace our imperfections, and become stronger.
Fired with 22K gold accents, this piece promises to shine and fill your home with holy light this holiday season!

A note about handmade art
As with all handmade art, no two pieces are identical. Limited edition
pieces are created in the same basic shape, size, style and palette, but
there will be small differences due to handmade nature of my work.
