The Tree of Life, mentioned in the Bible In Genesis and in Proverbs, is the inspiration for this series of hand crafted and hand painted small dishes. As a universal symbol of unity, connection and strength, they will elevate your table with both meaning and beauty.
Using the actual clay of the Holy Land, these dishes were hand shaped in organic lines to be slightly asymmetrical, like the tree they depict. The surface decoration is a watercolor style Galilee landscape with the tree in the foreground. As a final touch, I added 22 karat gold accents, as a symbol of the purity and preciousness of the Land of Israel.
These lovely dishes are both beautiful and useful. I love using them as tapas dishes, for spices, as a small dessert plate, for candies and nuts, or as a ring dish. They make a unique an gift bound to be cherished by the lucky recipient.
