Collection: The Next Year In Jerusalem Collection

This collection of seder plates was inspired by the beautifully designed cast iron manhole covers that dot the streets of Jerusalem, bearing it's official emblem, the iconic lion of Judah.

They were made using a press mold taken from the one just outside my studio, with the clay of Israel's Negev desert, hewn from the very ground where Jews wandered on their journey from Egypt to Israel.

They are a symbol of the closing words of the Haggadah, L'shana Haba'ah B’Yerushalayim — Next Year in Jerusalem!

Each one is a signed heirloom quality piece of functional art, and comes with a beautiful certificate of authenticity that includes its meaning and inspiration, and the process and materials with which it was created.
