Inspired by the changing colors of the Negev at sunset, this one-of-a-kind ceramic menorah layers soft desert rose, warm sand and earthy tones with luminous gold accents.
Handmade in my Jerusalem studio, the organic variations in color and surface give the piece the feeling of a desert landscape. The raised center shamash and individually formed candle cups create a simple contemporary silhouette, while the gold detailing catches the candlelight.
A functional piece of Judaica designed to remain beautiful as a sculptural object throughout the year.
As with all handmade art, no two pieces are identical. Limited edition pieces are created in the same basic shape, size, style and palette, but there will be small differences due to handmade nature of my work.
