Who can do this workshop?
Anyone from age two to 120 can enjoy this workshop. Believe it or not, kids as young as two can make truly beautiful things you would be proud to use and display in your home.
What kinds of things can we make?
You can create all kinds of Functional and Sculptural Art including serving ware for Shabbat and every day, home decor pieces, Judaica (kiddush cups, candle holders, challah board, havdalah set, menorah, seder plate, washing cup), jewelry.
How it Works
Your workshop begins with an inspiring introduction and demonstration of basic hand building techniques. Hands on assistance is available throughout the workshop from our friendly staff and instructors.
After forming your pieces, each participants will apply surface decoration using a variety of tools and application techniques including imprinting textures and leaves into clay, botanical and decorative stamps, Hebrew and English letter stamps, stencils, carving tools, sponges and brushes. The last step is to choose your colors and paint and glaze your pieces.
