This one-of-a-kind Seder plate set is handpainted in the stunning shades of the Negev desert. I used a rub of yellow and red iron oxides as a base before overpainting it with semi-translucent brush strokes of brown, taupe, ochre, and sand. It features handpainted 22 karat gold accents as a symbol of the preciousness of the Torah the Israelites were en route to receiving.
The six dishes for the seder plate items are uniquely shaped to fit what they hold: maror, charoset, zeroa, beitzah, carpas, and chazeret.
It makes a beautiful, meaningful, and useful gift, destined to become a treasured family heirloom that will appreciate in value, as it is used each year on Passover— and It can be displayed as art year-round.
This set with Seder plate (85 cm / 34") and 6 small dishes is original handmade functional art, signed by the artist, and comes with its own certificate of authenticity.
