I was inspired to create this piece by my love of Persian rugs, so many of which I would pass as I strolled by the shops on Jerusalem's famed Jaffa Road.
It is hand built from the finest clay and bisque fired to 983 C°. It's surface decoration features a remarkably detailed replica of a genuine Persian rug, handpainted in a Mediterranean palette of teal and turquoise blues, burnt orange and pomegranate rose. After add transparent glaze it is fired a second time. It is elegantly finished with a luxurious 22 karat gold rim and fired for a third and final time, adding a touch of opulence to its timeless beauty. Each platter is signed, making it a unique work of art that blends functionality with cultural richness.
This one of a kind piece is an original painting on ceramic, destined to appreciate in value over time and become a cherished family heirloom.
It is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity (COA) that serves as important documentation for future resale or appraisals. It verifies that the piece is an original creation by the artist and provides key information about the work, such as:
- Title of the artwork
- Artist’s name
- Date of creation
- Materials used (e.g., type of clay, glaze, and any special elements like 22K gold)
- Dimensions and weight (if relevant)

As with all handmade art, no two pieces are identical. Limited edition
pieces are created in the same basic shape, size, style and palette, but
there will be small differences due to handmade nature of my work.
