This pair of candlesticks was inspired by the lush Carmel Forest in Israel's north. As we were driving past it, I stopped to take some pictures, and used them as a reference to paint them back in the studio.
Starting from the bottom in earth tones and working themselves up to the greens of the trees and the expansive bluesky, they are accented in 22 karat gold kiln fired accents as a sign of the beauty and preciousness of the land of the Bible.

As with all handmade art, no two pieces are identical. Limited edition pieces are created in the same basic shape, size, style and palette, but there will be small differences due to handmade nature of my work.
