Drink in the beauty of Israel with this set of handmade mugs, made from clay hewn in the Holy Land.
Dates are one of the seven special species of the Land of Israel mentioned in the Bible and you can see the tall, graceful trees swaying in the breeze throughout Israel.
These mugs are hand-shaped from Israel's clay, and then slowly dried before being bisque fired. They serve as a wonderful canvas for a handpainted tableau of date trees on the shore of the Kinneret (Sea of Galilee). They have kiln fired 22 karat gold, and mother-of-pearl accents, as an homage to the preciousness and extraordinary beauty of Israel.
These mugs are also available with original paintings of the other species, namely figs, pomegranates, olives, grape, wheat and barley.
They are generously proportioned, and comfortable to hold. Experience Israel with your morning cup of tea or coffee.
Each set is an original painting on clay. The one pictured here may be sold, but if you order it, I will paint a very similar tableau on your set!
