This is a creative, fun, and meaningful activity for kids and adults age 5 and up. In the first half of this 3 hour workshop participants will learn classic hand building techniques for building their own menorah, in the shape and style of their choice.
The second half of the workshop is for surface decoration and painting using a variety of tools, stamps, stencils and bushes. There is a beautiful and rich palette of colors in brights, pastels, and neutrals from which to choose. What makes this workshop so special (besides everything) is that we use clay hewn from the actual land of Israel, not far from where the miracle of Chanukah took place over 2,000 years ago. It makes a memorable family activity, and a favorite for grandparents and grandkids!

I Made it Out of Clay!
Make your own dazzling and dynamic dreidels out of clay, just like the song says! In the first half of this workshop you will learn techniques for forming dreidels out of clay. Make up to 4 dreidels in different shapes, sizes and styles. The second half of the workshop is for surface decoration using a variety of tools, stamps and stencils, as well as paint from a beautiful array of colors to choose from.

For groups of up to 16 at the studio or for large groups, we will bring the workshop to your hotel or venue.Choose from an extraordinary selection of hand made and sculptural bisque ware including Judaica, table-and-serving ware, and giftware. Each person will decorate and paint their own piece of ceramic functional art made of the actual clay of the Land of Israel, in a single session of 2 to 2.5 hours. Families can choose to work on a group project that celebrates both family unity while honoring each member’s unique contribution. Some popular family projects include a 7- piece seder plate set, a kiddush cup set, a set of dinner, salad or dessert plates, or tea lights.NIS 36 studio fee person, plus the price of the piece(s) you choose. Choose from our wide selection of beautiful and unique menorahs and dreidels, each one hand made from the clay of the Land of Israel in our studio.
Our selection includes a variety of shapes, sizes and styles and sizes, from small to large, to simple, organically shaped and sculptural.
