The Jerusalem Collection A

For the past 2000 years, the three weeks leading up to the ninth day of the Hebrew month of Av has been a time of national mourning for the Jewish people for the destruction of the first and second Beitei HaMikdash (Holy Temples) in Jerusalem, and with it, the departure of G-d's revealed Divine Presence from the world.

I hope this collection of Jerusalem-inspired functional art—comprised of hand-crafted Judaica, servingware and jewelry made from the clay of the Land of Israel— evokes the unparalleled beauty and holiness of Jerusalem, and serves to inspire longing and prayer for the rebuilding of the Holy Temple and the expansion of Divine consciousness in us all that will transform the world to one of universal love, peace, joy and harmony for all of humankind.
